MUET ORIC Conducted an interactive workshop titled “Funding Opportunities and the Role of AI in Research Grant Writing” on 5th December, 2024. The workshop was held in Collaboration with the USPCAS-W in the Auditorium of USPCAS-W MUET. The Students Faculty and Researchers from various departments and faculties participated in this interactive workshop.
The program started with the recitation of Holy Quran. By Mr. Muhammad Haris from ORIC office followed by opening remarks and discussion on various grant opportunities including USAID funding opportunities and its guidelines by Mr. Arif. Ali Jalbani Mnager RO&D ORIC, MUET.
Director ORIC Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain given a detailed overview of various grant Opportunities including ERASMUS which are open for application and motivated the faculty and students to apply for these grant opportunities.
Dr. Rizwana Mustafa Founder and COO Scientific Pakistan given a detailed review of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools which can be utilized by the researchers in drafting their grant applications successfully.
The event was closed by Director ORIC with the Q&A session motivating the MUET faculty to submit maximum grant applications in future.
