ORIC MUET Joining Hands with ORIC IQRA University Karachi to conduct a research experiment in MUET 27th November 2024. The Event was organized by Mr. Arif Ali Jalbani Manager Research & Development ORIC MUET.
IQRA University’s NRPU awardees conducted an experiment in MEUT in collaboration with Civil Engineering Department, Textile Engineering Department and Bio Technology Department for their NRPU project titled “Estimating the Prevalence of Anxiety, Depression, and Associated Risk Factors Among Students in Public and Private Sector Institutions of Pakistan.”
The study was based on a mobile application developed in-house, which presents demographic questions, an anxiety measurement scale, and interactive games. The session lasted approximately 12 to 15 minutes for each, (40-45 undergraduate students), during which students were connected to sensors that monitored bio-signal variations.
Around 40 students from MUET participated in this research study conducted by IQRA University in collaboration of ORIC MUET.
Prof Dr. Tanweer Hussain appreciated the research collaboration among the universities and appreciated the departments for their participation.
