We are thrilled to announce that three talented teams from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) have been recognized for their innovative solutions for the sustainable utilization of Thar Coal Ash. Each team received a cheque of Rs. 200K and a shield from EPTL for their exceptional contributions!
The researchers from MUET proposed groundbreaking applications for utilizing Thar Coal Fly Ash and Bottom Ash, focusing on:
Manufacturing of Bricks and Concrete Blocks using Flyash (Lead by Dr. Sultan Khoso and Prof. Dr. Tanweer Hussain)
Production of Ziolite using Thar Coal Flyash (Lead by Engr. Waheed Ali Khokhar)
Treatment of Water and Wastewater and Development of Nutrient-Rich Soil Amendments and Water Filtering Agents using Flyash (Lead by Dr. Raheel Bawani, and Dr. Tanweer Ahmed Gadhi)
