In a significant step toward enhancing the academic and professional growth of its students and alumni, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Times Consultant. The MoU was formally signed in a ceremony by Prof. Dr. Tanweer Hussain, Director of ORIC at Mehran University, and Mr. Ali Nawaz, Director of Times Consultant on 13-11-2024 at the office of Director ORIC, Mehran UET.
This partnership focuses on key areas of support aimed at fostering the success of graduates as they embark on their careers. The collaboration will provide free expert academic guidance, including personalized counseling on higher education, scholarships, and career development pathways. It will also offer complimentary IELTS preparation courses to aid students and alumni in meeting international language proficiency standards. Additionally, Times Consultant will facilitate hiring initiatives to actively engage with alumni and enhance their employability through job placements and recruitment drives.
The MoU marks a substantial opportunity for Mehran University to expand its services, supporting students in transitioning seamlessly from academia to their professional journeys, with a particular emphasis on those pursuing international prospects.
