The first Chinese paper cutting competition was held on 12th December 2024 at ORIC Muet Jamshoro. Director ORIC Prof. Dr. Tanweer Hussain given motivational talk about the importance of Chinese Language and shared the success story of various MUET students and alumni who have been very successful in the academic and business Community around the world.
The event was organized by Mr. Arif Ali Jalbani focal person of Chinese Language Program at ORIC, MUET in collaboration with Confucius classroom Cadet College Petaro.
The main aim of this competition is to enhance students’ creative and cognitive skills and to make them feel that still in this modern time period paper cutting has its own value and significance. The paper cutting competition focused particularly on Chinese culture and its civilization. So it was a reawakening of Chinese rich tradition.
The Students from MUET shown their keen Participation in the Mentorship of Chinese local teachers Mr. Akhtiar Ali and Mr. Shahzaib.
The Chinese Head teacher Mr. Abdul Waheed from Confucius Class Room Cadet College Petaro and Director ORIC distributed the certificates of appreciation among the students.
