On September 19, 2024, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology hosted the “Empowering Youth Entrepreneurs to Lead Innovation for Resilience” program, organized by the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (ORIC), MUET in collaboration with Sindh Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (SHRRP), Shell Tameer, Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro University of Art, Design, and Heritages Jamshoro, and Catholic Relief Services.
The program aimed to equip young entrepreneurs with essential skills and knowledge to drive innovation and economic growth in their communities, particularly in the aftermath of challenges like the catastrophic floods.
The event featured insightful sessions on entrepreneurship, business model canvas, and digital learning, conducted by industry experts. Students from participating universities showcased their business ideas and received certificates upon completion of the program
