The purpose of collaborations between ORIC and Mehran University Engineering & Technology is to promote mutual understanding and scholarly alliance by supporting academic and research activities among faculty and students. Specific areas of cooperation between the institutions include multidisciplinary joint research, joint publication authored by faculty members, applying for joint research funding, exchanging academic materials and information, co-patenting products resulting from joint research, leveraging research and subject matter expert networks, accessing state-of-the-art labs for research purposes, developing opportunities for training, conferences, workshops, and academic meetings, and supporting commercialization activities within the scope of work.
